Mohanlal in the lead

runaway hit. In 2003,
the Kannada version
of the film was a
big hit. In 2005,
it was made as
Chandramukhi in Tamil
and the film’s
roaring success has
lured noted Hindi producer,
Naren Aditya to vie
for the Hindi rights
of the film. He is a
popular ad film maker
too. He has reportedly
paid Rs. 1 crore to
Appachan for the Hindi
rights. He has also
said that only Amitabh
can do justice to the
role that Rajini played.
He has approached Amitabh
and waiting for his
nod. Once through, we
can expect Chandramukhi
to speak success in
Hindi too.
