made his debut in
Thulluvatho illamai,
which became a talking
point for adolescent
love as shown in movies.
He played a psycho
in Kadhal kondein,
which again was a
big hit. He attempted
to play an action
star with a streak
of comedy in Thiruda
thirudi. But his attempts
at being a full-fledged
action hero failed
with Pudukkottaiyilirundhu
Saravanan and Sullan.
Then came
the testing times with
the tussle with the
producers. Suddenly,
Dhanush was out of the
limelight. Last year,
he had Devadaiyai
kandein
which was a moderate
hit. Now, Adhu oru kanakkalam
and Puduppettai will
strive to revive his
sagging image. Meanwhile,
he has also committed
for Tiruvillaiyadal,
which has Prakashraj
playing the perfect
foil with his inimical
style. Both have paired
up to serve some exciting
comedy fare.
