Arrambam's buyer bets even bigger on Veeram

The trade negotiations of Ajith's Pongal release Veeram have begun in right earnest. Chennai and NSC (North Arcot - South Arcot - Chengalpet) areas have been bought for a fancy price by Thenandal Films.

It must be noted that Arrambam was distributed in the Chengalpet area alone, by Thenandal Films and the film managed to get a really wide release on its first two days, before the other Diwali releases arrived. Arrambam is still holding on, well into its 4th week.

Veeram can be expected to get a large number of screens in the Chennai and NSC area thanks to Thenandal's clout and experience in the distribution business.

Negotiations for the other trade areas such as Trichy, Salem, Coimbatore and Madurai are also underway and we will keep you posted on the developments in this regard.

It will be a straight shootout between Veeram and Jilla this Pongal and fans are already licking their lips in anticipation.
