Breaking - Ajith's next after Veeram

Ajith is gearing up for the release of Arrambam and Vishnuvardhan's unit is currently busy with the post-production processes at a breakneck speed. Post the release of Arrambam, Ajith will complete Siva's Veeram, set for release in early 2014.

Now coming to the exciting part, an industry birdie has hinted to Behindwoods that Ajith's next film may be with director Vikram Kumar, of Yaavarum Nalam and Alai fame. Ajith was much impressed with Vikram's script narration it seems.

A.M.Rathnam's Sri Sathya Movies, which is currently producing Arrambam, is expected to fund this new venture too. Vikram Kumar is currently busy with the Telugu film Manam, the Akkinenis' family affair.

We may expect an offbeat venture this time from Thala and even horror isn't ruled out of the equation as Vikram has shown his flair for horror in the well-received Yaavarum Nalam (13B in Hindi). It is not clear yet whether Ajith would be taking up this film before or after his long pending surgery to mend the torn ligaments in his leg.

This is just an unofficial byte from a reliable industry source to Behindwoods. An official announcement has not been issued by any parties involved. But, we have to agree that this surely is an exciting hint about Ajith's next. We will keep you posted with more updates.
