BAD NEWS: STRIKE AGAIN FROM TOMORROW, WILL SHOOTS BE AFFECTED?

The recent tussle between the TFPC and the FEFSI Union which had led to FESI members strike for few days had affected shoot of many films including Rajinikanth's Kaala. The primary reason for the strike was when TFPC announced its members that, it is not a compulsion to only hire FEFSI members for their shooting, but a producer can also recruit experts of their choice based on the production demand.

Though the FEFSI members went on for a strike for a couple of days, the TFPC was strong on the decisions made, and FEFSI withdrew the strike as it had affected their members financially and agreed to the decision made by TFPC. But the union has decided to go on strike again from tomorrow (Sep 1st). The reason for the strike is against the new approach taken by TFPC to recruit Viscom students from various colleges in Tamil Nadu. A press meet head by RK Selvamani happened today evening at 4 pm at the FEFSI office to confirm the strike.
