The press meet of Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan happened this morning at Prasad Labs, where the whole team, including director Panneerselvam, music director D.Imman, producer A.M.Rathnam, and heroine Tanya Ravichandran were present.
 

During the press interaction, when a reporter asked Vijay Sethupathi about the recent hatred and harsh comments that are grown towards reviews, the Vikram Vedha actor replied, "People who watch and review a film, it is just their opinion and that is nothing wrong in it. It is not going to change the final result of a movie in any way.

Likewise, in Karuppan, if we've tried to tell something through the film, it is our opinion and there is nothing right or wrong. I do not know if we should take these reviews too seriously. It is just an opinion. We can't close the mouth of everyone and it is difficult. Anyone, be it reviewer, or a common person, I believe, it is just their opinions and there is nothing called right or wrong."
