The 15 year anniversary of Behindwoods was commemorated by 6th edition Behindwoods Gold Medals awards event. It was truly a special edition of the event and it was absolutely star studded.
Easwari Rao was awarded the 'Best Actor in a Supporting Role' for her performance in Kaala as Selvi. She was asked about how she felt about working with Superstar Rajinikanth. She said,"Many people have got this opportunity but it is a big thing that I got an opportunity to work with him and if there is anything that I would like to call as an achievement in my career, it would be my experience working with him."
She then thanked her director P.Ranjith and Superstar for giving her the opportunity. She was then shown a meme that had three different picturesof Superstar with Easwari Rao from Kaala, one with Simran and other with Trisha from Petta with the words 'Whos is the Best Pair?' and asked whom does she think is the best pair for Superstar.
She replied,"That question shouldn't be asked to me but the audience but am very proud that am there in that place." It must be noted that her portrayal of Selvi in Kaala was very well received and appreciated. Watch the full video here:
