Nivin Pauly's next Tamil film Richie with debutant Gautham Ramachandran is a remake of the Kannada hit film Ulidavaru Kandanthe. The teaser which released a few months back was well received, but the movie's release plans got changed many times for unknown reasons.
The latest we hear is the release date is now finalized on December 1st, 2017. Nivin who enjoys a great fan following in Tamil after the blockbuster Premam is expecting this direct Tamil film to do well in TN. Richie also stars Prakash Raj, DOP Natty and Shradha Srinath in important roles.

Premam star Nivin Pauly has been roped in to play the lead in great cinematographer Rajeev Ravi's fourth venture as director, in a biopic of the legendary Malayali playwright, actor, director and humanist N Narayana Pillai, popularly NN Pillai.
Around midnight last night, his tweet read: "Extremely happy to be associated for an exciting project master craftsman #RajeevRavi! This is truly an honour! đ".
This is the first biopic film of Nivin Pauly, and we are really excited to see how this will turn out to be.
