One of the biggest blockbusters of the year has been is Vijay's Mersal. The film was riding on a high for a long time with audience pouring into theatres with their families, a multiple number of times! The celebrations started on day one at Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai on a grand level, and it was almost unstoppable.
Today, Nikilesh Surya, the Executive Director of Rohini Cinemas took to Twitter to reveal something amazing! He tweeted, "#Mersal continues week 8 with two shows @RohiniSilverScr #BlockbusterMersal Second film to do so this year after #Vivegam".
Mersal is now running in its 8th week with two shows still running full at Rohini. As Nikilesh says, this is after Thala Ajith's Vivegam has a similar run at this most wanted multiplex!

Critics and celebrities are widely praising Karthi's recent action entertainer Theeran Adhigaram Ondru. The film also continues to keep the box office bell ringing.
Our sources inform us that Thalapathy Vijay had supposedly watched Theeran and was super-impressed with the film. It is said that Vijay had called director H Vinoth after the screening and praised him for delivering a quality and racy film.
Wouldn't it be great to see a commercial king like Vijay teaming up with a director like H Vinoth? We hope it happens soon!
