The first ever 3D film in the history of Indian cinema, My Dear Kuttichathan released in 1984. The film has carried on a legacy ever since, and it had a dream run when it released. 

After over 34 years, the director Jijo Punnoose is said to be making a comeback very soon. There is no official word yet, but the film is said to be based on the history of Chundan Vallom, the famous snake boat of Kerala. 

It is reported that Fahad Faasil has been approached to play the lead in this film.
