Celebrities react to bus burn incident in relation to Padmaavat release

A day before the release of Padmaavat has seen a lot of violence in few of the states of India. Reports suggest that groups like Karni Sena have indulged in activities like throwing stones at a school bus, burning a bus and blocking the road in the Gurgaon and other parts of Haryana as well as Rajasthan.

 

Responding to these violent incidents were actors like Arvind Swami and Radhikaa Sarathkumar. Arvind Swami posted, “If there is a law and order breakdown, bring in President’s rule. Either you are capable of providing security to the citizens and their property or you are not. There is no excuse, nothing to blame except your administrative failure #Padmavat”.

 

Radhika took to her Twitter space and said, “Attacking a school bus is totally deplorable, why are they being let off and all this for a film #Padmavath ??? Regressive”.

Arvind Swami's Bhaskar Oru Rascal announced as Pongal 2018 release

Pongal 2018 race is definitely getting interesting with more and more films joining the contention. The latest to have joined the list, as per today's scenario, is Arvind Swami-Amala Paul starrer, Bhaskar Oru Rascal, directed by Siddique.
 

The makers have announced that the film will hit the screens for Pongal 2018, through their newly released poster that came out this morning.


Currently, there are six films in the race namely, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam (Suriya), Sketch (Vikram), Kalakalappu 2 (Jai, Jiiva, Shiva), Gulebagavali (Prabhu Deva), Bhaskar Oru Rascal (Arvind Swami), and Madura Veeran (Shanmugapandian). R.K.Suresh's Billa Pandi was also speculated to release for Pongal, but there hasn't been any official word from the team.


As of now, the race is between six films, but we will have to wait until January first week, to know the final set of releases.
