Harris Jayaraj threatened

Three individuals were arrested by Chennai city police for making threatening calls to music director Harris Jayaraj.

It is said that Harris Jayaraj’s wife Suma Jayaraj received the call first when the caller threatened to kidnap the family if a sum of Rs. Twenty lakhs was not paid. Although she ignored the call first, she later complained to the police when she got the call again with the same demand.

The police team, in disguise, contacted the callers agreeing to their demands and asked them to come to a place, where they arrested the trio.

It is said that one of them, Thirumalai is Harris’ father’s driver and the other two are Arunachala Pandian and Muthukrishnan all hailing from Tirunelveli.
