Oct 07, 2014

Director Pa.Ranjith’s second outing Madras featuring Karthi and Catherine Tresa is riding on a success wave and the film has been received well. Recognizing the work, director Pa.Ranjith is to be felicitated by an outfit called Evidence, a Madurai based Human Rights Organization which has been taking cases of suppressed people and helping them out. The event is scheduled to happen on the 25th of October at Madurai when Ranjith would be honored for his film.

Ranjith, talking about the award to behindwoods, says, “I am honored to receive this award from Evidence which has been doing yeoman service for the upliftment of downtrodden. Evidence is an important outfit in Madurai and when they consider my film Madras to help them in their activities, I feel happy and I am thankful to them”
