'Kunju Naina' and 'Thondhi Badava' cross a major milestone

Though there have been many films released this year so far, very few have been able to make a mark at the box-office. One such is the Rajkiran, Vemal, Lakshmi Menon starrer, Manjapai presented by Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers. The film reached its 50th day on July 25th.

 

The film was an ode to grandfather's love and was much-loved by the masses particularly for Rajkiran's splendid performance, a hit duet song featuring the lead pair and the heart-wrenching climax.

 

Though the subsequent list of big film releases have halted Manjapai's run, the film is a profitable venture for all parties concerned. We wish the Manjapai team on their pleasantly surprising success.
