What is Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathey about?

After a critically acclaimed maiden directorial venture Aarohanam, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan is gearing up with her second flick Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathey (NVM). The film produced by A V Anoop for AVA productions has Pia Bajpai, Shabeer, Sruthi Hariharan (of Luciya fame), Bala Saravanan, Thambi Ramiah, Ambica, Thalaivasal Vijay, Y Gee Mahendran and AL Azhagappan as cast members.

NVM has Vinod Bharathi cranking the camera, Sabu Joseph as the editor, Madley Blues in charge of music. The songs are penned by Na Muthukumar with Shankar Mahadevan, Chinmayee, Nandini Srikar and Mili Nair rendering the tracks.

NVM is about petrol crisis which hit the state some time back. There are four stories which run parallelly which organically converge. NVM also tells the values of relationship.  

The film is shot in several locations including Chennai, Thanjavur, Trichy, Kumbakonam, Karaikkal, Neyveli and Malaysia. Two songs are pending to be shot.
