With the Cannes Film Festival underway and several Bollywood stars making their presence felt on the red carpet and at the event, the big question on Tamil cinema fans’ minds is - will Superstar Rajinikanth be at the festival? Earlier, sources within the unit of Kochadaiyaan said that the trailer launch may take place at the prestigious film festival but turns out that they have scrapped that idea and are looking at a different date.

Superstar Rajinikanth is very much in Chennai and has made no preparation to go to France where the event is taking place. Meanwhile, there are reports also emerging that a making of the movie video may come out first featuring the song sung by Rajini himself to promote the film and the hours of work that’s still going into the final product. The trailer is also being prepared simulatenously and its only a matter of time now before its unveiled in style.
