Rajinikanth teams up with K.S. Ravikumar after their blockbuster partnership Padayappa. While the fans expect nothing short of a commercial treat, Rajini himself had spoken about his character in the movie saying that Rana will be the Ultimate Villain. Rajini was aware of the audience’s frenzy caused by roles like Vettaiyan, Motta Boss and Chitti 2.0 and therefore seemed confident that Rana will trump all of them. The film though had been temporarily shelved due to the Superstar’s ill health.
