Passengers waited for Rajini's bus

Each and every fan of Tamil cinema would be aware of Superstar Rajinikanth’s humble beginnings in Karnataka as a bus conductor. Until now, very little about his life as a conductor has been revealed but author Naman Ramachandran brings it to light in his biography of the Superstar.

In his book titled ‘Rajinikanth - The Definitive Biography’, Ramachandran chronicles some incidents and anecdotes from Rajini’s days as a conductor. One such episode reveals that passengers would let empty buses pass by and wait to board Rajini’s bus no matter how crowded it was just to witness the style in which he used to issue the tickets and tender the change.
