When a stinking Priya Anand lost her senses

Oct 14, 2013

Priya Anand is turning out to be a successful actress in K-town with Vanakkam Chennai, her latest release, being accepted well by the audience.

Our Behindwoods correspondent caught up with the actress who shared a few interesting experiences acting in the movie. When asked about how comfortable she was when acting in the movie, she said

Being an NRI, I felt the comfort in my body language. The commonality between Anjali (her character in the movie) and I are that we both love Chennai a lot. I am very fond of this city. I can’t move to another city from Chennai. I love living here.

The actress also spoke about her experience acting in the food fight that features in the movie.

I loved doing the food fight in the film. I enjoyed throwing cakes, noodles and fanta on Shiva. But he threw an egg on me. It was stinking. To add to it, we had to sit amidst all the scattered food and shoot a full scene. I had to block my senses to act in the scene.

Priya Anand now has a couple of movies by name Arima Nambi and Irumbu Kuthirai in which she plays the lead opposite Vikram Prabhu and Atharva respectively. She is currently shooting a sequence in Milan for Irumbu Kuthirai.
