WATCH - PILOT CAUGHT SLEEPING IN COCKPIT; REPRIMANDED

In a shocking incident, a pilot of China Airlines was caught sleeping in the cockpit mid-flight. Reportedly, a video of the incident went viral on social media following which the pilot was reprimanded.

The pilot was identified as Weng Jiaqi, a senior pilot for China Airlines. Jiaqi reportedly had 20 years of experience prior to the incident. From the video that went viral, Jiaqi could be seen with his head down and eyes closed. The video was taken by the co-pilot.

After the video went viral, both the pilot and co-pilot were punished by the airlines for inappropriate behaviour.
