Facebook launches stand-alone app for children

Social media giant Facebook has reportedly launched a messaging app for children under 13 to chat with their parents and with friends approved by their parents. The app is an extension of a parent's account and the service won't let children add their own friends or delete messages. The app comes with a slew of controls for parents.
