The Returning Officer for the RK Nagar bypoll Velusamy has officially announced that the nomination of actor Vishal has been rejected. He explained that an inquiry was conducted with the two proposers of Vishal, whose signatures were found to be invalid. The officer also announced that the nomination of Vishal has been rejected as the sufficient number of proposers were not found for Vishal. Ten proposers from the constituency are needed for a candidate to file nomination in the constituency bypoll.
