In a fight between classmates, a class XII student at a government school, reportedly lost his fingers right before he was to appear for the state board exam in Madurai on Friday. Reports say, two students attacked the victim with a knife when he was about to enter the exam hall. The accused students escaped the spot and police suspect a dispute over seating in a classroom could be the motive behind the attack.
