TN MINISTER WELCOMES RAJINIKANTH’S TWEET ABOUT ATTACK ON COPS

Tamil Nadu fisheries minister D Jayakumar has welcomed actor Rajinikanth’s statement on cops being attacked during the protest against IPL on Tuesday. Rajinikanth shared a video of cops being attacked and wrote on his Twitter that attacking cops is the worst act of violence. The actor also called for strict laws to deal with those who attack cops. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the minister said that any form of violence is condemnable. However, the minister stressed that necessary laws are in place to handle such offenders.
