According to reports, a woman from Musunda Patti village in Sivaganga district attempted suicide after poisoning her two children following a quarrel with her husband on Monday. The woman, along with her two children, was reportedly rushed to the government hospital in Ponnamaravathi where her two-and-a half -year-old girl child later died. The woman and her son are receiving treatment at the hospital. Police are probing the incident, say reports.
