Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday discussed the situation arising due to heavy rains and floods in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu with Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam. Modi, who arrived in Chennai on Monday to participate in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of a Tamil Daily, also assured the state of assistance from the Centre.
On landing in Chennai, PM @narendramodi discussed the situation arising due to heavy rains and floods in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu with the CM & Dy CM of the state. He assured them of all assistance from the Centre.
