Tamil Nadu School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan on Saturday reportedly said the state government is planning an accident insurance scheme for school students. According to media reports, Tamil Nadu witnesses the highest number of accidents near educational institutes. Tamil Nadu will be the first state to provide school accident insurance to students if the scheme is launched.
