Heavy rains in Bengaluru: 5 killed, woman rescued from submerged car

According to reports, at least five people have been killed in rain-related incidents in Bengaluru on Friday. A priest was reportedly washed away in a stormwater drain in Kurubarahalli area and his body was recovered from the drain on Saturday morning. Another woman and her daughter have been suspected to be washed away in another drain in the area, say reports. In another case in the same part of the city, two people lost their lives after a wall collapsed in an old house. Also, four people rescued a woman who was stuck in a car submerged in water near the Nayandahalli Circle on Mysuru road on Friday night.
