243 barbers working at Tirumala temple reportedly have been sacked for taking tips from the pilgrims for shaving their heads. According to media reports, the temple authorities had received complaints from pilgrims that many of the barbers asked them for tips ranging from ₹10 to ₹50 for the service which is supposed to be free of cost.
