A man named Murthy was arrested for growing ganja plant in the premises of the popular Vazhakarutheeswarar temple in Moongil Mandapam area of Kanchipuram. On receiving a tip-off, the Vishnu Kanchi police conducted a search and found that the man, who works as a security in the area, has been growing the plants. Murthy was arrested and an investigation is going on.
