St Joseph's Hospice in Paleswaram district of Kancheepuram has been ordered to shut down in two days after many shocking complaints against it. Allegedly, the locals nearby claim that the hospice is always surrounded with a foul stench and also undertakes in organ trade and bone exporting of the deceased elderly. The hospice is also reportedly guilty of illegal cremation of more than 500 who have died there. According to reports, out of the 315 present in the hospice, 255 are said to be mentally unsound.
