A sub-inspector who is 47-year-old tried to commit suicide by consuming cow dung powder during Diwali at his house. Reportedly, he was saved, and during an inquiry, he blamed the police department for attempting kill self. He alleged that he was transferred to another city because he complained about the illegal activities undertaken by other police officials. According to media reports, his higher officials denied the reason he gave and said that they think that he tried to commit suicide because of family problem.
