In a press meet on Tuesday, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Vijayabaskar reportedly said that they are currently holding talks with the temporary nurses who’ve been staging a protest in Anna Salai in Chennai, since yesterday. He further added that all nurses are employed as per government procedure and on basis of available vacancies. Notably, over 3000 temporary nurses have been protesting since Monday demanding permanent employment and a hike in salary.
