Police have reportedly arrested a 7-member gang who abducted college students and looted car, bike, laptop and money from them in Coimbatore. Five college students from Ukkadam including Syed Ahmed, Sarjun and Arun Pandiyan were abducted on November 18 by a gang, say reports. Ukkadam police had filed a case, and a probe was on. Now, police have arrested seven persons - Riyazuddin, Mohammed Farook, Abdul Jaleel, Manikanda, Mujibur Rahman, Bavurutheen and Syed Ibrahim - in connection with the matter.
