Nathella Sampathu Chetty, a popular chain of jewellers in Vijayawada and Chennai, has reportedly cheated investors to the tune of Rs 75 crore. Subsequently, a case has been filed against the board of directors. It is reported that those who have been making monthly deposits in the gold scheme saw their money not reflecting in their accounts of late.
