According to police sources, a group posing as sellers dealing in different products including electronic items exploited Flipkart’s Seller Protection Fund by falsely claiming refunds for products which they said were damaged or lost in transit. The gang had cheated them of nearly Rs.17 lakh. The company has lodged a complaint with the Koramangala police and the nine suspects are yet to be traced.
