People do this huge favor to save Tamilian from death sentence

According to reports, Arjun Athimuthu a Tamilian was given death sentence in 2013 for accidentally killing his co-worker Abdul Wajid a Keralite, in Kuwait. According to Kuwait law, the kin of the deceased is allowed pardon the murderer. However, Abdul Wajid’s family due to their poor financial status demanded Rs 30 lakh to pardon Arjun Athimuthu. Arjun’s family unable to raise such a huge amount sought help on media. However, huge support followed and people from Malappuram together collected Rs 25 lakh. On Monday, the collected money along with the Rs 5 lakh arranged by Arjun’s family was handed over to the victim’s family.
