Madras HC suggests women be given this to tackle sexual assault

Referring to scores of sexual assault on women, Justice N. Kirubakaran of the Madras high court put the onus on central and state governments to explore the possibility of giving women modern-day gadgets in a bid to avoid sexual assault. The comment was made while rejecting bail applications of two rape accused. The judge also expressed concern over the raising crimes against women even while India is on the progress towards being a super power.
