Manigandan, whose contact Dashwant had developed in prison while serving for the alleged rape and murder of the minor girl Hasini, was reportedly nabbed by cops after they received information that he was hiding in Madurai. Dashwant, after allegedly murdering his mother and robbing her jewellery, handed it over to Manigandan and got a huge sum in return. This will be a major clue in the Dashwant’s mother's murder.
