The Regional Meteorological Centre on Sunday said, moderate rains can be expected across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for the next 24 hours. The Director of the Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai, S Balachandran said that the low-pressure area formed in the Northern Andaman might intensify into a depression and it is expected to move towards southern Andhra Pradesh and northern Tamil Nadu till December 7.
