Illegal scans, abortions land Chennai doc in police net.

Following a botched-up abortion that led to the death of a 24-year-old woman Lakshmi Manigandan, Chennai police arrested one Dr Selvamba Rajkumar and remanded her to judicial custody on Monday. During investigation, it also came to light that the doctor was involved in determining sex of foetus, a crime punishable under Indian laws.
