WOMAN POURS ACID OVER ONE-MONTH-OLD BABY TO CURE PNEUMONIA

A woman from Rajasthan was arrested on Friday for allegedly pouring acid over a one-month-old baby with pneumonia. Allegedly, the woman claims to have the powers to cure illnesses and hence poured chemicals over baby Priyanshu to cure him off pneumonia.

Reportedly, Priyanshu was taken to the woman on March 26 for treatment. However, after the baby's health started deteriorating, he was taken to a nearby government hospital for treatment. The hospital staff on seeing the burns on the baby immediately informed the police.
