SURGEON OPERATES LEG OF MAN WITH HEAD INJURIES

A surgeon at Sushruta Trauma Care in Delhi allegedly operated on a man's leg who was admitted with head injuries. The patient had been admitted due to injuries on his head from an accident. However, the surgeon confusing him for another patient, operated his leg instead.

According to the patient's son, a hole was drilled on his right leg and a pin was inserted. The mistake was identified and brought to the hospital's notice by the son. Reportedly, the surgeon was banned from conducting surgeries without any supervision.
