23-year-old Dhaswant was sentenced to death by the Chengalpet Mahila court today for raping and murdering seven-year-old Hasini. He was sentenced to 46 years in Puzhal Jail and then a death penalty for his crimes. According to reports, Dhaswant was allotted cell number 6937 in the jail.
