Speaking in the midst of fishermen in Thoothoor of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Tuesday announced that one family member of the deceased fishermen will receive government job based on their educational qualification. CM Palaniswami, further, reportedly said that the families of fishermen, who died due to Cyclone Ockhi, will receive Rs 20 lakh each as compensation.
