Festive fever grips TN; Jallikattu in full swing

Avaniyapuram - one of the places well known for the grand Jallikattu celebrations - was in full swing on Sunday to mark ‘Jallikattu’. Reportedly 675 bulls were brought in and 275 bulls were qualified to take part in the bull-taming sport. Bull owners whose bulls were not tamed reportedly received prizes including refrigerator, washing machine, television, etc.
