Ramamurthy, aged 62, stabbed a leopard to death near Krishnagiri after it allegedly came to attack him. The farmer, this morning saw the leopard approaching him and took the knife used for cutting leaves and shoots and used it to kill the animal. Ramamurthy had to go to the nearby hospital as he had also gotten hurt in the process. Forest officials are currently looking into the issue.
