A 38-year-old man, Ragunadhan from Periyapalayam was reportedly arrested on Monday for threatening villagers by opening fire in the air. Reportedly he wanted to disperse the crowd that was chasing him. Reportedly, he owned a chit fund company in that area and disappeared with people’s money. When they found him they tried to catch hold of the man.
