A 20-year-old engineering student committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his room in Thirumazhisai. Franklin, a third-year student from a private engineering college in Thirumazhisai, is the son of Arockiasamy from Orathanadu area of Thanjavur. Franklin, who was residing alone in his flat, did not make calls to his father recently. Worried over this, the father reportedly asked friends to check on him. The friends found the door locked inside, opened it and found Franklin dead. Police have reportedly sent the body for post-mortem and suspect that Blue Whale game could be the reason behind his suicide.
