CHENNAI: WOMAN’S LOVER IMPREGNATES HER 12-YEAR-OLD CHILD

Police booked a 48-year-old auto driver under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for allegedly impregnating a 12-year-old child near Avadi. Renuka Devi, who runs a shop in Nemilichery, and Paramasivam had an affair. The man is alleged to have sexually assaulted the woman’s daughter,  who is studying in Class VIII at a private school in the area. The matter came to light when the woman brought her daughter to doctors to abort the foetus. Based on a complaint, police arrested Paramasivan and lodged him in Puzhal prison.
